RSE Consultation 26th November 2020

Above is the draft Relationships and Sex Education Policy. It was agreed by governors on 9th September 2020 to put this policy out to consultation with parents in the Autumn Term of 2020. Parents are requested to look out for this consultation that will be sent through the usual channels.

New Statutory Government Guidance has been issued to schools to be implemented this year regarding the teaching of Relationships & Sex Education. Please note that the formal sex education lessons will only be taught with our oldest pupils in the summer term (and parents of these children will be notified in advance of the lessons).
A link to the electronic consultation form was emailed out to parents on 26th November 2020.

Complaints Policy Sept 2020 – Any concerns or complaints about the support a child with Disabilities or Special Educational Needs should follow the same procedures outlined in the Concerns and Complaints Policy but in the first instance be taken to the class teacher and/or Mrs Nash as the DSEN Leader.
